Kidepo Valley National Park

Kidepo Valley National Park lies in the rugged, semi-arid valleys between Uganda’s borders with Sudan and Kenya, some 700km from Kampala. Gazetted as a national park in 1962, it has a profusion of big game and hosts over 77 mammal species as well as around 475 bird species

Murchison Falls National Park

Murchison Falls National Park lies at the northern end of the Albertine Rift Valley, where the sweeping Bunyoro escarpment tumbles into vast, palm-dotted savanna. First gazetted as a game reserve in 1926, it is Uganda’s largest and oldest conservation area, hosting 76 species of mammals and 451 birds.

Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Ziwa Rhino Sauctuary is the proud home of the only Wild Rhinos in Uganda. Conveniently located in Nakasongola District 176km north of Kampala (100 Miles) on the Gulu -Kamapala Highway, it is a must stopover when travelling in Uganda. Presently the sanctuary is home to 32 White Rhinos in the wild and a popular stop over for tourist for Rhino tracking, Shoe Bill Trek, Canoe Ride, Bird watching, Night walk, Nature walks and relaxation.

Budongo Central Forest Reserve

Budongo central Forest Reserve is located within the boundaries of Murchison falls Nation Park which lies in the Northern end of the Albertine rift valley in northern Uganda. This tropical forest is very important but less explored habitat of more than 600 chimpanzees which is almost the largest chimpanzee communities in the country and 8 other species of primates.
